At the age of 16, she debut her first film Prem Aggan, produced and directed by Feroz Khan. She featured in few Bollywood movies, including the Aamir Khan starrer Mann in 1999.
In 2010 Indian gossip columnist Vicky Lalwani linked Sikander to actor Mimoh Chakraborty – a claim both parties denied. Sikander is also active as a fashion model, and she launched her own design company, Saisha, in 2010.
