After the huge success of Simmba, entertainer Ranveer Singh has started prepping for his upcoming film, 83, movie based on India’s victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup in which the actor will be seen playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
There were speculations that Ranveer’s real wife and actress Deepika Padukone was approached for playing Kapil’s wife in the movie. According to the latest report, the dimpled beauty said no to the project since she doesn’t have much to do in it.
Since, Kapil Dev’s wife’s role will be very limited in this film and Deepika is a huge brand. She wouldn’t do any film just because her husband is in it, reports said.
Ranveer and Deepika are among much-loved reel and real life jodis of Bollywood. They have worked together in films like Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. Both the stars tied the knot in November.
