New Delhi, Oct 21: Sibi George, a 1993 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS), officer, has been appointed India’s next Ambassador to Switzerland. George is presently serving as Joint Secretary in Ministry of External Affairs. He is expected to take up his assignment shortly, an official release said. George earlier served as deputy chief of mission of Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia.
