Bhubaneswar: Miracles happen sometimes, out of the blue. A similar thing happened in case of Sindura Rout who thinks a miracle has happened in her life. The Bhubaneswar-born girl got to do her debut Telugu movie Maro Drushyam, a science horror. Talking to Orissa POST Sindura says she got break into movies while doing a commercial. She said the director watched her ad video along with his production unit and called a her to narrate the film’s story after which she was signed for the movie. The film was released in the theatres December 15, 2017.

The 17-year-old girl, a trained dancer, was into modelling when she was just 15. She told Orissa POST the movie was the directorial debut of actor K Rajendra Prasad who is the lead actor of the movie. The science horror depicts the use of a memory chip in human brain. “I am the CEO of a company in whose office a girl was gangraped by three employees. How I take action to give justice is at the root of the chief plot in the movie,” said Sindura. A trained Odissi, Kathak, folk and western dancer, Sindura was a Kabaddi player and had represented her school and college. She performed Odissi in 2011 and set a Guinness record.
