BHUBANESWAR: Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar has successfully organised its first open-mic event in collaboration with Your Quote Community, world’s largest offline-to-online platform with multilingual repository of original performances in the field of literature. It has been a highly acknowledged community currently harbouring over 500,000+ subscribers.
The literary society of the college, Anubhuti, made it possible for the students of the city to showcase their talent and be featured in a world class platform. Kumbha Karna Rout, Dean, OUAT, extented his generosity and helped the society in its every step to bring this event to a grand success. He said, “Students are our future and their talent must be given an opportunity in every possible way.” He expressed his gratitude to the secretary of the literary society.
About 40 students from in and around the city as well as state participated in this event. It included performances of self written poetry pieces, stories, shayaries and stand-up comedy acts in English, Hindi and Odia. Every performer was filled with excitement and expressed themselves through thoughts on art and literature.
The authorities of university appreciated the efforts of Anubhuti and extended their wishes to conduct such occasions more often. Your Quote community was generously thanked for being the support system and their objective of expressing literature in a noble way was highly praised and admired.
