BHUBANESWAR: Sunidhi Chauhan is set to perform in one of the biggest management cultural fests of India Xpressions, the three-day annual festival of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB).
Each student of the institution is geared up to make the upcoming event a memorable experience. Xpressions 2018 plans to reach out to the best minds of business schools and test their business acumen. The three days will be packed with business simulation games, cultural activities and art exhibitions among others. Xpressions offers its guests one of a kind experience to refresh and rejuvenate them in their hectic lives.
XIMB waits to host Sunidhi Chauhan for a live performance on Celeblitz, a part of the fest. With only 20 more days to go, here are the scheduled events that are set to make Xpressions even more eventful this year. As veritable business acumen is required to do well in the corporate world, Xpressions gives the perfect platform to test one’s managerial skills. The different business events include Case Connect (a national-level case study competition), Inquizzitive (a flagship quiz competition), MPower (a marketing based business event) and Nirnay (an online simulation game) among others.
Trade Wars, an online trading competition, has already kicked off. It is witnessing participation from various institutes such as IIM-Amritsar, IIM-Sambalpur, IIM-Rohtak , NMIMS Mumbai, KJ Somaiya to name a few. The excitement for the fest is clearly seen in the students who are eagerly waiting for the competitions to start. Some of the competitions have already opened their forms for registrations and huge numbers are pouring in from across B-Schools in India.
Amidst all the serious case competitions, the students engage in multitude cultural competitions organized on all the three days of the fest to showcase their creative talents. Decibelz, a music band, would keep the crowd enthralled by performing rock music. Goonj, the solo singing competition and Thirkan, the dance competition brings out the best in participants are also some of the attractions of this mega event.
These cultural and business events foster the soul of Xpressions, which is undoubtedly one of the biggest management & cultural fests of India. It provides a platform to future leaders to showcase their ability. Last year, Xpressions had witnessed an enthralling performance by Farhan Akhtar, who performed for the first time in the city.
