Dabugaon: The Surgical Strike Day, a day to commemorate the sudden attack by Indian jawans on terrorist training camps in PoK, was observed at a training camp of National Cadet Corps (NCC) on the campus of Adarsh Vidyalay here in Nabarangpur district.
Addressing the camp, NCC commanding officer lieutenant colonel GB MK Rao of 13 (Odisha) battalion said the day is celebrated with a lot of pride across the country. Pakistan has been pushing the trained militants into Indian territory to stall the development process of the country.
Special jawans were engaged to destroy the training camps across the border, added Rao. Subedar Major Narenda Pratap Singh, Subedar Kiranmoy Ghosh, Subedar SC BM Bhanu and other 19 staff were present at the camp.
