Surveyor gen to probe unoccupied building

Bhubaneswar: Survey of India, Bhubaneswar has been keeping sensitive documents and Global Positioning Systems at its unoccupied building in Khanadagiri for the last three years. Orissa POST exposed this major security lapse in its September 9 edition article headlined ‘Lone Guard for Survey of India Classified Documents’. Taking a note of the report, Surveyor General of India Swarna Subba Rao informed the newspaper that he will enquire about issue and take necessary action.
