Sambalpur: A young man from Sundargarh district was admitted to the isolation ward of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla Wednesday for showing symptoms similar to coronavirus patients.
The youth has been identified as a resident of Hemagiri locality of Sundargarh district. He was engaged in a company in South Korea and had returned to his village recently.
The doctors at VIMSAR have collected his blood samples.
The man will undergo a medical checkup at the hospital Thursday after his blood samples are received.
