Bhubaneswar: Swine flu toll mounted to 23 with the demise of two more victims of H1N1 affliction in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Wednesday. The SUM hospital here reported one death while another was reported from Shanti Hospital in Cuttack. According to sources, 12 cases diagnosed positive out of 43 samples tested for viral seasonal influenza. Swine flu positive cases were reported from Cuttack, Khurda, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bhadrak and Dhenkanal. Of the 750 samples, 259 swabs have been detected positive so far. Health officials said medicine stocks are available at government hospitals with necessary arrangements for treatment of the patients.
