Lord Shiva is very naïve and that is why he is called Bholanath. Whatever the devotees offer to Bholenath, he gladly accepts it. Surprised! But it is true, there is a temple where devotees offer cigarettes. Lord Shiva of Lutru Mahadev temple situated in Arki Solan district of Himachal Pradesh smokes cigarettes offered by devotees.
By offering cigarettes here devotee believe that their wish will be fulfilled.This tradition has been ongoing since centuries.
Another strange things is the cigarette automatically lightens up and smoke comes out of it looks like someone is smoking for real.
This temple was built in 1621. It is said that, Lord Shiva appeared in the dream of a King Baghal Province and asked him to build this temple. The view of the natural beauty is quite amazing. It is also said that Lord Shiva spent a lot of time here.
