Keonjhar: As many as three persons were killed in two separate road mishaps under Sadar police limits in this district Friday morning.
In first incident, two bikers were killed after their bike was being hit by a speeding truck near Jadichatar on National Highway 20.
The deceased were identified as Ranjan Naik and Deba Munda of Sankari village. The duo was returning to their village after watching a Jatra in a nearby village.
In the second incident, the driver of a 14-wheeler died after the vehicle turned turtle after he lost balance on the wheels near Anjar on NH-49. While the deceased was yet to be identified, police reached the spot and sent the body to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) for post-mortem.
