Rayagada: Three men, including two masons and a daily-wage labourer, died after allegedly suffocating inside a septic tank at Tarpaguda under Padmapur police limits in Rayagada district.
The deceased were identified as Harishchandra Bir, Prakash Lima and Alok Karada.
According to reports, the three entered a septic tank one after another to clean it and subsequently lost consciousness. On being informed, Padmapur fire services team reached the spot and rescued them from the tank. However, all three were declared dead.
