Top seeds enter final

Bhubaneswar, April 5: Amrutjay Mohanty and Aditya Satpathy set dates in the final in the boys’ event of the Puri Open AITA Talent Series U-16 Ranking Tennis Tournament after winning their respective semifinal matches in Puri, Sunday.
Top seed Amrutjay came from one set behind to overcome Pratyush Mohanty 0-6, 7-5, 6-0. Second seed Aditya prevailed over Kabir Hans 6-4, 6-2 to sail into the summit clash.
In the girls segment, Bhargavi Kalaga and Rutuparna Choudhury registered emphatic wins in their respective semifinal matches to enter the final.
Top seed Bhargavi downed Shreya Mondal 6-0, 6-2, while second seed Rutuparna spanked fourth seed Ameek Kiran Bhatt 6-2, 6-2.
