Rayagada: Train services were disrupted Monday morning between Rayagada and Koraput districts as the overhead electric wires in Bhalumuska-Liliguma railway line snapped.
According to reports, Vishakapatnam-Koraput DEMU was halted at the Tikiri station, Rourkela Express was halted at Bhalumuska and Hirakhand Express, was halted at Sikarapai, after the incident took place around 7 am in the morning.
Technicians have reached the spot and repair work is currently underway, so the train services are expected to resume soon, sources said.
