Trains cancelled

Bhubaneswar: Indian Railways officials Friday decided to cancel and divert a few trains due to safety related modernisation work at JNC Station in Tuglakabad-Palwal Railway Section under Northern Railway jurisdiction. The service of New Delhi-Visakhapatnam Express (22416) will remain cancelled November 9 and 10. Similarly, the service of Visakhapatnam-New Delhi Express (22415) will remain cancelled November 11 and 12. However, considering the inconvenience to passengers the railways has decided to divert a few trains via Agra Cantonment-Matawal-Khurja and Meerut City Route. Puri-Haridwar Kalinga Utkal Express (18477), Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express (18507), Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Samata Express (12807) and Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express (18478) will travel through the diverted route. Meanwhile, East Coast Railway (ECoR) officials informed this daily that the modernisation work at Bhubaneswar New Station Saturday will affect the service of a few trains. Accordingly, the service Talcher-Puri Passenger (58413), Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar Passenger (58407), Bhubaneswar-Brahmapur Passenger (58411), Brahmapur-Bhubaneswar Passenger (58412), Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar Passenger (58425) will get affected Saturday.
