Balasore: Two persons were killed in a road accident in Odisha’s Balasore district, police said Saturday.
According to police, two persons were travelling in a motorcycle from Bhadrak to their village in Soro when it collided head-on with a truck at Talanagar Friday night.
Both the persons died on the spot, they said.
The bodies have been sent to Soro hospital for post-mortem.
Police have launched a probe into the matter.
A manhunt to nab the driver — who fled from the accident spot after the accident — is underway.
In another unrelated accident in the district at 2.45 am Friday at least eight passengers were injured after a bus carrying approximately 40 passengers met with a severe accident.
