Bhadrak: A pall of gloom descended Uttarbahi village near Tihidi in Bhadrak district after two toddlers drowned in a pond Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Swagat (3), son of Ganesh Mallick and Samarjit (3), son of Sanjit Mallick.
According to reports, the toddlers accidentally slipped into the deep water while they were playing on the bank of the pond. The local residents rushed them to Tihidi Community Health Centre, where the doctors declared them brought dead.
