Puri: Two youths were injured in a murderous attack by some miscreants at a slum of Markandeswarsahi near town police area in this district Monday.
The injured, identified as Krishna Beher and Trinath Behera, have been admitted at district headquarters hospital here.
According to reports, some miscreants attacked Krishna and Trinath with swords and other sharp weapons, causing serious head injuries.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched an investigation. Police forces have been deployed at the spot to avoid further untoward incidents.
Three has been clashes between two groups in the slum for the last couple of days.
