Lanjigarh: Vedanta organised a multi-specialty health camp in collaboration with the district health department at Vedanta hospital here to mark the World Health Day Thursday.
The camp, titled as Universal Health Coverage, was aimed at providing good healthcare to 600 villagers in three blocks in Kalahandi district on a single day.
The healthcare services related to ophthalmology, orthopedic, pediatrics, ENT, X-Ray and treatment of TB and other diseases were provided to people. CEO of Vedanta Limited(Lanjigarh) Rakesh Mohan, project director Sanjay Agrawal, general manager (expansion project) Sunil Kumar Singh, deputy chief financial officer Vikash Binani, deputy chief people officer Hemant Kumar Bhatia, chief of spare and services Ravindra Kumar and chief medical officer of the hospital Dr Akshay Kumar Sahu and several other officials were present at the camp.
