VK Pandian asks to complete Maa Samaleswari Temple project in time

Sambalpur: Secretary to Chief Minister VK Pandian Sunday directed the engineers to speed up the work and complete the Maa Samaleswari Temple Area Management and Local Economic Initiative (SAMALEI) in Sambalpur in time.

Pandian who visited the Maa Samaleswari Temple project on the direction of Chief Minister asked the officers to project local heritage attractively.

He stressed adequate shade by plantations and asked to expedite the procurement of all finishing items.

Pandian instructed the finalisation of the design for an iconic foot-over bridge and to expedite the progress of pitching and the riverfront column foundation works.

The 5T secretary also visited the crematorium construction site and instructed to design the colours with lighter themes and to celebrate the human spirit.

The project is being developed in an area of about 30 acres. Out of which about 25 acres have already been acquired for the project and work is in progress.

He interacted with the pilgrims and visited the entire site where construction of the heritage pond complex, podium, queue management system, cloakroom and other associated components are going on.

He also inspected the vending zone, information counter, pilgrim facility and temple facility center and an iconic watch tower which are under fast progress.
