Bhubaneswar: Voltas Beko, a venture brand of Tata group firm Voltas and Turkish JV partner Arcelik, aims to strengthen its presence in the market with the latest direct cool refrigerator, which is likely to be launched in December, 2019.
Regional Business head (East) of Voltas Limited Sabyasachi Gupta, who was in city at dealers’ meet held Friday, said, “We didn’t go for direct cool product from day one. At present, direct cool market is 87pc. However, we are coming up with direct cool product in December with this our market will pick up like never before.”
Gupta said that direct cool refrigerator will be coming with attractive price ranges and colour schemes. We are looking for big market once it is launched.
Volatas Beko organised dealers’ meet in city addressing them exciting schemes for the festive season. The brand is offering 2 years of comprehensive warranty with 12 years in compressor.
The brand is also offering its customers in the upcoming festive season. “We have associated with some credit card companies so that our consumers may get some cashback. We have also offers in EMI,” he added.
Gupta expected that sales volume will be increased during this festive season. “Sales volume will increase in this festive season. We are eying a minimum growth of 60-70 per cent against last year,” he said.
The offers started for both consumers and dealers September 15 and will continue till Diwali.
Voltas Beko is taking all measures for its brand promotion instead of focusing on increasing sales volume. “Two-three years, we don’t look for market share. It’s time for us to positioning our products in consumers’ home,’’ he said. Voltas Beko offers technology-driven home and kitchen appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, & dishwasher machines in India. Branch Manager of Voltas Limited Manas Kumar Mallick, distributors Papu Hans and Rakesh Narang were also present at the event.
