Aditya Narayan lends his voice for Hindi version of ‘Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile'

Mumbai: Singer and host Aditya Narayan turns a year older today. He is the only son of renowned playback singer Udit Narayan. On this special occasion, let us knows some special things related to Aditya, who celebrates his birthday August 6.

Indian Idol 11 host Aditya Narayan was flirting with judge Neha Kakkar since the show premiered in October last year. Aditya even proposed to Neha for marriage in the presence of his parents Udit and Deepa Narayan and Neha’s parents Rishikesh and Niti Kakkar.

Udit teased Neha and said that he wants to make her his daughter-in-law. Aditya’s mother Deepa Narayan also tried to convince Neha Kakkar to be her bahu.

He was also seen in an album with Neha Kakkar and her brother Tony Kakkar.

Well, coming to some of his unknown facts, Narayan’s first playback song was for the Nepalese movie Mohini in 1992 and then a Hindi movie Rangeela with Asha Bhosle. Later in 1995 he performed a song for Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer Akele Hum Akele Tum along with his father, Udit Narayan. The movie also had Aditya, who played the role of Aamir Khan’s son.

Aditya was praised for his performance as Aamir’s son in the movie. Apart from Akele Hum Akele Tum, as a child artiste, Aditya did many films. He was signed by Subhash Ghai for the film Pardes which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhary in the lead roles.

Aditya Narayan’s second film was Jab Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai. The film had Salman Khan and Twinkle Khanna in the lead roles. As child artist, Aditya has performed in more than 100 songs. Aditya’s most famous song is Chhota Bachchan Jaan Ke from the 1996 film Masoom.

Aditya is the only child artiste to have worked with all the three Khans. He worked with Aamir Khan in Akele Hum Akele Tum, with Salman Khan in Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai and with Shah Rukh Khan in Pardes.

Apart from singing, Aditya Narayan also tried his hand at acting. He played the main character in the 2009 horror film Shapit. However, he did not get much success in acting.
