Mumbai: With only a few days left for its release, fans are eagerly waiting for the film ‘Saaho’ to hit the cinemas.
Every day some news related to the film is coming out on social media. Recently, it was reported that Shraddha Kapoor, the lead actress of the film, has been offered Rs 7 crore for ‘Saaho’.
However, according to one report, there is no truth to the story. The report states that this is a PR gimmick. Efforts are being made to create an impression that Shraddha has been paid good money doing South Indian films so that she will get a higher fee in the Hindi film industry.
The report further stated that Katrina Kaif was approached for ‘Saaho’ but she demanded Rs 5 crore which was more than the budget of the makers, which is why Shraddha was replaced by Katrina in the film. Telugu industry has a lower budget for actresses than its Hindi counterpart.
The report also stated that Shraddha has actually been offered around Rs 3 crore for ‘Saaho’.
In ‘Saaho’, Prabhas will be seen as an agent while Shraddha is playing the role of a crime branch officer. Apart from them, many actors including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay are playing important roles in the film.
