e all take precautions before Holi, but we do not realise that even getting rid of colours needs to be done safely, to save our skin. So, after Holi, pay attention to some aspects to ensure that you do not have to grapple with the after-effects of the festival.
Always keep in mind to use cold water to remove Holi colours. The reason is that hot water makes it even tougher to remove Holi colours easily.
Try not to wash your face over and over again since it can make colours dry.
Also, apply some coconut oil on a cotton ball and scrub off the colours using it.
You can also use soaked amchur powder in case the above ideas don’t work out.
Do not go for hair or skin treatments such as facial, bleach, hair colour just after Holi. You need to wait for at least one or two weeks before you go on to use any harsh chemicals.
You can also apply a paste using curd and methi seeds powder. Apply this as a hair mask post the Holi celebrations. This will prevent hair damage and keep your hair nourished.
