Kendrapara/Patkura: A man bludgeoned his wife to death after she allegedly made him eat more during dinner at Madhusudanpur village under Marshaghai block and Patkura police limits in Kendrapara district, late Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Kamala Ojha, 54, wife of the accused Ajay Ojha of the village. On being informed, police detained Ajay at the police station and interrogated him in this connection.
A case was registered in this connection and the body was sent for post-mortem. Locals alleged that the accused was mentally unstable for the last five years, for which his wife always used to keep a close watch on him and would hardly leave him outside. They alleged that the murder took place after dinner.
