Balasore: A woman lost her leg and a man was injured severely after being hit by a train at Rajghat railway station in this district Sunday.
The victims were identified as Bharati Sahu of Ramchandrapur village under Jaleswar police limits and Deepak Sahu, a resident of Bantuli village.
Government railway police (GRP) rescued the victims and admitted them to Basta community health center (CHC) from where they have been shifted to Balasore DHH as their condition deteriorated.
Sources said both were walking on the railway track when the train hit them.
