Puri: A woman allegedly stabbed her father-in-law to death in Baradi village near Astaranga in the district here Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sarat Swain.
Soon after the incident neighbours rushed Sarat to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack where he succumbed to his injuries.
Reports said, the woman allegedly stabbed her husband four days ago, injuring him critically. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar and his condition is stated to be critical.
However, the the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be known. No police complaint has been lodged till the last report came in.
