Bhubaneswar: Over 170 students from different schools across Bhubaneswar and Kataka participated in XQUIZIT 2026, an inter-school quiz competition organised by the third-year Communication students of the School of Communications, XIM University (XIMU) Wednesday.
The event began with an address by XIMU School of Communications Acting Dean Arpita Saha.
The competition featured a preliminary round covering general knowledge, everyday awareness, general abilities, logical thinking and other areas of knowledge, followed by an audience session and the final round.
Orissa POST and Dharitri Chief Executive Adyasha Satpathy joined as chief guest and addressed the participants on the importance of quizzing in developing curiosity, awareness, critical thinking and teamwork.
She encouraged the students to carry the spirit of questioning and learning beyond the competition. Students from DAV, KIIT International School, Sai International School, Loyola School, KT Global School, and other schools participated in the competition.
Loyola School secured the fi rst position in the competition.
The event concluded with the valedictory ceremony, bringing together students, organisers, faculty members and partners for the successful culmination of a day focused on knowledge, healthy competition and learning.
