Bhubaneswar: A youth was arrested Monday night while loitering unauthorizedly on the runway of the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here.
Alert CISF personnel on duty noticed the trespasser and caught him. He was questioned and later handed over to the Airfield police. It is suspected that the youth had scaled up the boundary wall of the airport and stepped in from the Khandagiri side. He was likely suffering from mental illness, police said.
Police said he resided in Dumduma area. An investigation was on.
