Youth dies in road mishap

Janla: A youth was killed after being hit by a mini truck under Janla outpost here Monday morning, sources said. The deceased was identified as Intiaz Ali Saha, 18, of Dhangahiri under Pipli police limits. Intiaz who was staying at Bacharapatna in Jatni was on his way to Bhubaneswar on his motorcycle (OD 02W 7294) when the mini truck hit him from rear near Gohira Chhak. Intiaz suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot. Janla police outpost officials reached the spot and sent the body to Capital Hospital for post-mortem before handing it over to the deceased’s family.
