Balasore: A youth got electrocuted at Chaumukha village near Baliapal in this district Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Arabinda Padhi.
Arabinda was removing sacks of chicken faeces, used as manure in betel leaf vine farming, from a truck. While he was doing the job, he accidentally came in contact with the 11KV live wire that was passing over the truck.
He was rescued in a critical condition and rushed to a nearby hospital, but the doctors declared him brought dead.
On getting information, the police reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem and started an investigation.
