Manali: A youth has filed a case against his transgender wife with the police for allegedly cheating him.
According to sources, the youth who got married recently was not aware that his wife was a transgender. He came to know about it when he went for his honeymoon to Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
Realising that he had been cheated by the bride’s family, his family members lodged a complaint with Gobandi police station in Mumbai.
According to the report, the youth and the transgender were in love when they were in college. Subsequently, they got married.
However, when negotiations regarding their marriage began the transgender’s family told that their daughter can never be a mother due to some medical complications to which the family members of the groom did not give any importance.
After marriage, the couple had not met on the fourth night. At Manali the truth was revealed.
