Balasore: A young convict found guilty of killing a minor girl he loved has been sentenced to life term by a court here. Special judge Ajanta Sadangi pronounced the verdict on convict Pradip Kumar Acharya (24), a resident of Rasalpur Chaulachhada, Thursday.
Pradip was also fined Rs 35,000. He was in love with Suman Kulu (17), daughter of Pitrush Kulu from Lathikata in Sundargarh. He took the girl to the banks of river Lembu on the promise of marriage December 9, 2014, killed her and hanged the body from a tree.
