Bhawanipatna: Police Saturday morning recovered the body of a youth hanging on the premises of Dharmagarh sub-collector’s office under this police limits in Kalahandi district.
The deceased was identified as Bhudev Bagarti, a street vendor.
His body was found hanging from the ceiling of the shade of a waiting shed.
Sources said, Bhudev earned his livelihood by selling snacks near the sub-collector’s office. However, under what circumstances, he ended his life is yet to be ascertained. On the other hand, rumours did round that it could be a case of pre-planned murder while police is yet to confirm if it was a suicide or murder.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy. Meanwhile, police suspected family feud to be the reason for the act.
The body has been sent for autopsy and exact reason will be known after the arrival of post-mortem report, police said.
