BHUBANESWAR: The Kalabhoomi Tour is becoming more popular with each passing day. Rahul Samant, executive vice president and chief information officer, Delta Airlines, I Gusti Ayu Mas Sumatri, serving regent of Karangasem from Bali, Indonesia, students and faculty members of Bachpan playschool visited the museum this week.
Speaking on these visits, a Kalabhoomi official said, “We always look forward to such cultural exchanges that not only give us a glimpse of other cultures but enhance our knowledge of our own cultural heritage.”
Students of Bachpan playschool were particularly smitten by the rich collection of the museum. One of the faculty members Sushmita said, “We are firm believers of the philosophy that it’s never too early or late to learn and involving these tiny tots in this tour is testament to this. We have introduced the state’s rich cultural heritage to our young students.”
The Museum Walk and live music organised by Ekamra Walks between 3:30 pm and 5 pm is another one of the reasons Sundays at the museum are special but don’t worry if you miss out on that. One can join the daily guided tours in three languages for a glimpse of the crafts of Odisha.
