Bhubaneswar: Soro police Tuesday brought television actor Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal alias Jessi and two others to state forensic science laboratory (SFSL) in connection with a polygraph test on them to elicit information about the mysterious death of choreographer and TV actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja (38).
Soro police arrived at SFSL at 9:45am with Pralaya Jena, an event manager, Dhaneswar Behera, driver of the car in which Raja was traveling on the fateful night of February 7, and Jessi, who was also in the car while they were returning to Bhubaneswar after a performance at Khaira.
Soro police IIC Parsuram Sahoo who came out of SFSL with the trio at around 2:15am told reporters that polygraph test could not be conducted on the suspects as there was a technical glitch in some equipment at SFSL.
Jessi also told the media that “Lie-detection test could not be conducted on me today.”
Sources said in a bid to avoid the media, Soro police claimed that polygraph test could not be conducted on the trio. The three, however, remained inside the SFSL for over five hours. PNN
