Bonai: Normal life was disrupted at Bonai in Sundargarh district as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observed a 12-hour bandh Monday over several demands.
The demands include speedy work of Bimalagada-Talcher railway project and declaration of Bonai block as drought-hit.
The saffron party activists blocked NH-143 and NH-215, following which scores of vehicles were stranded, Besides, the party activists were seen picketing at different places.
Police personnel have been deployed in the town to avoid any untoward incident in the town.
