Kamakhyanagar: Two people were killed in road accident after their motorcycle in which they were travelling was hit by a truck carrying opera party artistes near at Bhalumunda village under in Dhenkanal district Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Om Jasobanta Jena and Somesh Muduli.
Five opera party artistes were also injured critically in the mishap as the truck overturned after the incident.
Locals rushed the injured to Kamakhyanagar sub-divisional hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
