Koraput: Odisha police seized 65 kg of ganja and arrested three including a woman Thursday night here.
The accused have been identified as residents of Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring Chhattisgarh.
Source said that the huge amount of ganja was being illegally smuggled to Uttar Pradesh from Koraput.
According to police reports, the three were arrested in Machhakund area of the tribal district.
During patrolling on Sagar-Mandeiput road Thursday night Machhakund police intercepted a speeding Tata Safari carrying ganja.
During search, police seized 65 kg ganja and arrested the three peddlers who were travelling in the vehicle.
