Paradip: The Kujang police near Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district seized Heroin drugs weighing 40 grams during a raid at Sandhapur village Wednesday morning.
A case was registered and a man was arrested in this connection. The arrested person has been identified as Dharmendra Parida alias Sippu.
According to reports, acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid in Sandhapur village near Paradip and seized the heroin from Sippu.
Sources at the police said that interrogation of Sippu is on to unearth more details about the seizure of the heroin.
The accused will be forwarded to the court later today, added the sources.
