Rajnagar: Rajnagar police Saturday produced a 14-year old boy, a Class X student, before the CJM-cum-Principal Magistrate of Juvenile Justice Board for his alleged involvement in raping a five-year old girl Thursday afternoon at a lonely place, after luring her with a chocolate near a village tubewell, said the IIC of Rajanagar police station.
The girl later narrated the matter to her mother. As a result, the victim’s mother lodged an FIR Thursday at Rajnagar police station. Rajnagar police sent the victim to Rajnagar CHC for medical examination.
Acting on the FIR, Rajnagar police registered a case against the juvenile and produced him before the CJM-cum-Principal Magistrate of Juvenile Justice Board. The juvenile was later released on bail.
