Bhubaneswar: At least eight youths sustained serious injures following a group clash that broke out at Baramunda Housing Colony during Holi celebration in the capital city Friday.
Sources said, a group of youths reached at the colony and attacked another group of local youths with sharp weapons, who were busy playing Holi.
“No sooner did the gang reach the colony than started attacking the local youths,” local residents alleged adding the miscreants also damaged a car parked and hurled slangs at the local youths.
After unleashing a reign of terror for about half an hour they left the spot before the arrival of police. “The exact reason behind the attack is under investigation but past enmity cannot be ruled out,” police sources said.
