Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Saturday called upon the state’s field revenue officials to be more sincere in solving the revenue cases as his government is giving top priority to transparency, technology and teamwork in governance.
He said all tehsils of the state have now been digitised and the processes of e-mutation have begun in some selected ones.
Patnaik, who was speaking after inaugurating the 38th annual conference of state revenue field officials including revenue inspectors, amins and supervisors, said his government was aware of the problems faced by the field officers and efforts are on to solve them.
Patnaik inaugurated several projects in the Silver City here to boost healthcare facilities for the people.
He inaugurated a 30-bed Urban Community Health Centre at CDA Sector-7. The newly commissioned hospital has outpatient department, emergency ward, operation theatre and X-ray facilities.
It is believed that the new hospital will cater to the healthcare need of 3 lakh people of CDA area and its nearby localities.
The CM also inaugurated a state-of-the-art central auditorium at SCB Medical College and Hospital. The two-storey auditorium can host as many as 1,500 people. The state government spent Rs 8.83 crore to build the auditorium.
Patnaik also inaugurated a separate building for a nursing college at the hospital premises and commissioned a hostel for its students. It is learnt that the state government had allocated Rs 15.90 crore and Rs 14.96 crore for construction of the nursing college building and the hostel respectively. SCB sources said the new hostel can accommodate 400 girls.
To boost civic amenities, the Chief Minister inaugurated the installation of LED streetlights in the city here.
