Bhubaneswar: A girl who was found sedated by her family Tuesday said a gang was shooting obscene videos and pictures of students at a reputed college in the Kharavela Nagar police station limits area here. She also alleged that some of her classmates were involved in this.
According to reports, the victim went to college to appear in an exam Tuesday morning. Later, her parents got worried when she did not return home till afternoon and send her elder sister to find her. She was found by her sister on the campus and brought home.
However, after returning from college she fell unconscious. Her family rushed her to the Capital Hospital where she was kept in the intensive care unit. After regaining senses, she informed cops that one of her friends had given her two chocolates laced with sedative.
She told the police that a youth named Sameer had been blackmailing girls with pictures and videos taken in toilets. Some students of the college have been helping him in this. She said she was also blackmailed by one her friends.
The cops recorded her statement in the presence of doctors and started investigations into the allegations.
