Bhubaneswar: Results of 3 Final Examination of Arts, Science and Commerce streams of the premier BJB Autonomous College were published here Friday.
While 81 percent students have passed in the Arts stream, 93 percent have cleared the examinations in the Science stream and 87 percent in the Commerce stream.
Natasha Nayak of Physics (Honours), who has secured 87.92 percent, has been adjudged as the ‘best graduate’ of the current year.
A total of 497 students had appeared for the examinations in 16 subjects in Arts (Honours). While 403 of them have cleared the examinations, 94 have flunked.
Similarly, a total of 217 students had appeared for the examinations in Science (Honours). While 202 of them have successfully cleared the examinations, 15 have failed.
In Commerce, 287 students had appeared for the examinations. While 250 of them have passed, 37 have flunked. College principal professor Prasanna Kumar Mohanty, vice-principal D Rita Pati and other lecturers congratulated the students and wished them luck in their future endeavours.
