Rourkela: A forty-one-year-old constable of Raghunathpali police station here ended his life by hanging himself Sunday. Family members spotted Bhimbahadur Bheet hanging from the roof in his room. He was taken to the Rourkela government hospital (RGH) where he died during the treatment.
The body was sent for autopsy while a case of unnatural death was registered. A probe was under way. Bheet lived with his family in Sector-3.
“No exact reason is known. We are waiting for the post-mortem report,” police said.
