The campaign will continue till June 1.
The first two stalls were opened near Tech Mahindra and KIIT Monday.
The stalls will be opened near Kalinga Hospital and XIMB Tuesday, CRPF square and passport office May 23, Baramunda bus stand and Khandagiri caves May 24, Kalpana square and railway station May 25, Lingaraj temple and state museum May 26, AG square and Ram Mandir May 27, Unit-I market and Madhusudan Park May 29, Fortune Tower and Infocity May 30, Sum Hospital and Khandagiri Caves May 31, and Apollo Hospital and Pantaloons, Sahid Nagar June 1.
Notably, millets are climate-resilient, healthy and nutritious, and so, they have been officially renamed as Nutri Cereals. Millets Mission Odisha is an initiative by the state government that was announced in the 2016-Budget and implemented in the Kharif season of 2017.
Recently, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced `100 crore for the Mission, which will be extended from 30 blocks of seven districts to 55 blocks across 11 districts, the official added.
There are also plans for introducing millets in Anganwadis under Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) and schools under Mid-Day Meal (MDM) scheme.
