Bhubaneswar: In a reshuffle among senior IAS officers, the state government has transferred 10 officers including an additional chief secretary rank officer.
Additional chief secretary-higher Education department GVV Sarma has been posted as member Board ofa Revenue while rural development secretary Bishnupada Sethi has been posted as higher education secretary, sources in CMO said.
Sethi will also continue as Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) and MD of Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA).
Tourism secretary Mona Sharma has been posted as the new secretary of Rural Development department while sports secretary Vishal Kumar Dev has been given the additional charge of Tourism department and chairman of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC), the source said.
Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts additional secretary Purushottam Sahoo has been appointed the new additional secretary of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department. The present H&FW additional secretary GG Debta has been transferred as Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Odisha with additional charge of secretary, Board of Revenue.
Water Resources joint secretary V Jaya Kumar will hold same position in planning and convergence department. Dharmagarh sub-collector Yeddula Vijay has been appointed the Home department under secretary.
Besides, Civil Supplies Corporation MD Niranjan Nayak has been shifted as the new MD of Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation (OLIC) whereas Odisha State Warehouse Corporation (OSWC) MD Saroj Samal is the new MD of Civil Supplies Corporation. Samal will discharge additional charge of MD, State Warehouse Corporation.
