Bhubaneswar: After a little respite from heatwave condition, the state has again witnessed temperature of more than 43 degrees Celsius at three towns Sunday.
According to local Met office, Bolangir was the hottest place of the state with 43.9 degrees Celsius while it was 43.8 degrees at Sonepur and 43 degrees at Jharsuguda. Similarly, the maximum temperature was 41.9 degrees at Sambalpur followed by Talcher (41.3), Hirakud (41.1), Bhawanipatna (41), Malkangiri (40.4) and Angul (40.1).
The Met office said thunderstorm will continue at some parts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati and Ganjam districts in the next 24 hours.
